At present my committee commitments include being vice chairman of the Schedule and Third Party Committee and Dental Instrument, Materials and Equipment committees and the Practice Support Committee of ADA NSW. I am also a member of the Federal Dental Practice committee and the Constitution and Policy committee. Finally I am chair of the specialist working group of the Federal ADA. I also have roles for the ADA liaising with the TGA, CSIRO, DVA and others. These roles allow me to be aware of what is happening at a government and regulatory level while still spending the majority of my time in Port Macquarie.

Office Manager

I started working with Dr Davis in 1999 as his Clinical Assistant.

During this period of time I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience as a Clinical Assistant. I have also had the opportunity to be a Patient Coordinator and in 2005 I was offered the position as Practice Manager.

I have completed my Certificate IV in Business Administration, Certificate III in Dental Assisting and  Certificate IV in Dental Assisting (Radiography).  I am currently undertaking my Certificate III in Sterilisation Services.

During my time at Davis Dental I have had the opportunity to attend courses in Thailand, New Zealand, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. On going education and team building is an important aspect of the Davis Dental philosophy.

“Davis Dental has a brilliant team of specialists and wonderful support staff, it is a pleasure to work with all of them….overall it is a fantastic place to work.”

I have three children which keep me very busy, I love spending my time with my family.

Port Macquarie, Practice manager

I started working in a general dental practice in 2008 and completed my certificate III in dental assisting. I have been working at Davis Dental since 2010 and I am currently studying my certificate IV in dental assisting and radiography. The things I enjoy most about working at Davis Dental are the complex treatment cases, seeing patients go through a transformation and seeing how pleased they are with the end result. In my spare time I love spending time at the beach with my husband and son.

Cristiane Ribeiro

Port Macquarie

I have just started with the Davis Dental Team as I recently moved with my family from Brazil, looking for a new challenge and a life change. As atypical Brazilian I love spending time at the beach with my partner and our 2 year-old boy who is full of energy. Among the activities I enjoy the most are running and swimming, which give me the fuel to start up the day.
I completed my Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2005 and I finished studying to be a Specialist Prosthodontist in 2012 in Brazil. I am currently undergoing the Australian Dental Council processes to be able to practice in Australia. Dr Scott Davis has given me the amazing opportunity to work with him as an Operating Dental Technician in his busy practice in Port Macquarie while I prepare for the Dental Board. I had never imagined I’d come from so far and find a perfect place to restart my career. Davis Dental values professional qualifications and encourages his staff to continue ongoing courses and training.
